Forraged Chicken-of-the woods Mushrooms, Made into a Comforting Pasta Dish

Chicken of the Woods Mushrooms!!! While I was in bed, with a cold, my special-guy-friend prepared this comforting pasta dish with the chicken of the woods mushrooms we had found in the woods, earlier, that day. Though, not presented the most photogenically, it is one of the best things I ever ate. It was sauteed and stirred in with some cooked whole wheat spiral pasta, made creamy with Veganaise, tangy with squeezed lime, and spicy with cayenne.... as well as being savory with freshly chopped garlic.

My First Experiment "Baking" Raw Cookies. They're Pecan Maple Cookies :)

Minnesota shaped maple pecan cookies! These are made with nothing but pecans, maple syrup and a bit of pink Himalayan salt, processed, to a cookie dough in the food processor, then, "baked" in the dehydrator.... it might have done better had I added a couple tablespoons of oat or almond flour.... and turned them over a couple of times in the "baking" process...
